​Sun Gazing is a meditative practice that involves looking at and focusing on the sun, harnessing the energy of the sun.

To Do's:

Sun Gazing is best practised barefooted with your feet in contact with the ground, known as Earthing.

Start with 10sec, slowly increase with 10min increments when you are accustomed and more comfortable with the intensity.

Stop immediately if you feel uncomfortable.

Avoid:

Do not Sun Gazing wearing spectacles/contact lens, or using camera/binoculars/telescope.

Do not use sunscreen/sunblock as it prevents you from receiving the full benefits of the sun.

Avoid days when you see the skies covered with unnatural "clouds".

Avoid Sun Gazing after the rain if you sighted any unnatural "clouds" prior.

Direct Sun Gazing
​
Direct Sun Gazing is practised ONLY during the first 30mins of sunrise and last 30mins before sunset.​

If you​ have sensitive eyes, or have certain conditions, you can first try with shorter durations (10sec), slowly incresing the length of time (with 10min increment) when you are accustomed and comfortable.

You do not need to stare at the sun, rather, you can just casually gaze at the sun with half-opened eyes, meditating on gratitude of life.​

Stop immediately if you feel uncomfortable.

Indirect Sun Gazing
​
​Indirect Sun Gazing can be done at anytime of the day, depending on your geographical location, the weather, and the intensity of the sun.
​
You can gaze at the sun with your eyes closed, looking through your eyelids. Thus, it enables you to Sun Gaze for a slightly longer duration.
​
Stop immediately if you feel uncomfortable.
