THE SKYSCRAPER
Many people view Nibbana as an unachievable task.
While this may be a daunting task, and we may not achieve it in this lifetime, it is definately not unachievable.

Nibbana is like a 100-storey skyscraper, with the Buddhas and Arahants at the top floor waiting for us to join them.
There may be the blessed few who are able to squeeze into the lifts that reach up to certain levels ... 70, 80, 90 storeys (Sotapanna, Sakadagami, Anagami),
while there are many who take the stairs. Some are diligent, some are slack, while some are physically handicapped yet extremely determined.

The point is : Everyday in practice of the dhamma is a step closer to Nibbana. As long as we do not give up, we are still on track.
Whether we want to achieve the goal sooner or later depends on our effort.

Strive with diligence ......
